Think of Emsella as a weightlifting session but for your pelvic floor muscles. Like other muscles in your body, they maintain and build strength, endurance, and performance through consistent training sessions, and when they aren’t used, they lose their strength.
After your first round of treatment sessions, your pelvic floor muscles are much stronger than they were before, but over time—usually around six months—they need training again to sustain their strength. We recommend patients come in for a maintenance treatment once or twice a year after their initial treatment period to keep up those results
